Solution Synopsis Go to Settings >> Messages >> Message Forwarding >> Turn on Mac (List of devices shown) >> Enter 6-digit activation code from Mac on iPhone >> Hit Allow.

3. Select Message Forwarding

   

4. Now, turn on Mac (From the list of devices).

5. Enter the Activation code >> Allow.

🏓 Note: If you have enabled 2-Factor Authentication, you need to complete it first and then proceed with the syncing through a 6-digit activation code. 

How to Disable the Sync iPhone Messages to Mac Feature?

Suppose you no longer want to sync iMessage to Mac, in that case, implement these steps to get your task done in a jiffy. 

1. Open the Messages app on your Mac. 

   

2. Select the Messages option on the top. 

   

3. Select Settings on the menu bar. 

   

4. Now, go to the iMessage 

   

5. Hop into iMessage and uncheck Sync Now option > Disable This Device. 

   

After this, your messages won’t get updated across both devices. Besides this, you can select to delete all messages on Mac, if you no longer need them. 

Why is iMessage Not Syncing From iPhone to Mac?
