Twitch will soon be rolling out its new TikTok-like discovery feed to all users this week. Now, you can scroll through bite-sized bits of content right from the Twitch iOS and Android apps. This new feed is like a treasure trove for finding new streamers you might love.

Twitch actually started testing this back in August 2023, and now, it’s finally here for all of us to enjoy. And that’s not all, Twitch isn’t the only one hopping on the short-form video train. Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, Uber Eats, LinkedIn, and more have already launched their own versions.

So, what’s in this new feed? Well, there are two tabs: the “live” feed and the “clips” feed. The live feed shows you live streams from streamers you already follow and some that Twitch thinks you might like.

And the clips feed? It’s all about the top moments from streamers across Twitch. So even when they’re not live, you can still catch the best bits!

We all know that sometimes, we only have a few minutes to spare. That’s where the clips feed comes in handy. No need to commit to a full livestream when you’ve only got a moment to spare.

Here’s the best part: you get to personalize what you see in the feed. Just hit the thumbs-up or thumbs-down button on a live stream or clip to let Twitch know what you want to see more or less of.

This new feed is a game-changer for Twitch streamers too. They’ve been asking for new ways to reach new audiences, and now they’ve got it. Before, they had to rely on promoting themselves on other platforms or teaming up with fellow streamers. But now, with this discovery feed, small and medium streamers have a real shot at reaching new viewers.

And finally, all live streams and clips are automatically eligible to appear in the feed as long as they meet Twitch’s content guidelines. While streamers can’t directly upload content to the discovery feed, Twitch is encouraging them to create and feature clips of their content for a chance to be included.
