Samsung Unknowingly Revealed Galaxy S24 FE Release Date, Features, and Price

The tech giant, Samsung, is no alien to having its forthcoming devices leaked. But this time the company itself is to be blamed for premature disclosure. A few days ago, the company accidentally posted pre-order pages. Both the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE and the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 series were leaked ahead of their respective releases.

The leak revealed the price hike along with other latest features and updates. Galaxy S24 FE’s retail price in the U.S. will climb to $649 for the 128 GB model and $709 for the 256 GB variant. This represents a $50 price bump in comparison to the Galaxy S23 FE launched last year, which was priced at $599.

According to speculations, the reason for this price hike can be due to the new software promises Samsung is making. Samsung will offer seven years of Android updates and security patches when it rolls out the S24 FE. The new price reflects that it is costly to provide support for such a prolonged period.

There is also a good chance that the tech giant will launch the new device with Galaxy AI, which Samsung is currently rolling out to millions of older Galaxy devices. However, it is still not confirmed whether the company will charge you separately for access to its AI toolkit.

The Galaxy S24 FE will include a 4600mAh battery, a 6.7-inch AMOLED Full HD display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, and an Exynos 2400e processor with 8 GB of RAM. But, the camera setup is identical to last year’s model, with a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP ultrawide, and an 8MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.

The pre-order page also revealed the release date-3rd October. This means that the device can be announced anytime soon. Presumably, the smartphone might be available to go on sale from next week.
