Google Launches Smart Home Panel Feature In All Google TV Devices

Google has announced that the new Google TV Streamer features will also be available on all Google TV devices. Now, customers can browse through a smart home control panel, a new sports page, and a new Gemini-powered function. 

The devices getting all these upgrades in the coming week are Google TV, Chromecasts with Google TV, and third-party Google streamers. The new Home panel can be accessed in the settings panel to control all devices connected to Google Home. 

It simplifies living with technology that enables lights to turn off or on, maintain proper brightness, schedule a movie, and adjust a thermostat as well from a remote. Moreover, it will become convenient to livestream connected cameras to the TV and pull up a picture notification when someone rings the video doorbell. The new Sports Page on Google TV is an exciting addition for sports fans. It can collate all game content across all services, including YouTube highlights, offering personalized recommendations. 

Customers will also get several Gemini-powered features integrated into the Google TV streamer. Soon users can read summaries, and reviews, and get every season’s breakdowns of shows for watching their favorite shows. The ambient mode was also upgraded to create screensaver art with generative AI. With over 150 free channels available with Google TV Freeplay, the tech company is surpassing all its customers’ expectations and leaving its competitors far behind.
