These earbuds were talked about in April, and now you can get them before they officially launch this week. They cost $79.99 and give you 18 hours of battery life without needing a separate case. The Beats earphone case has never been smaller than this one.

Even though they are inexpensive, the Beats Solo Buds are quite good. They look and fit like the more expensive Studio Buds +. However, they lack sophisticated features such as hands-free “Hey Siri,” Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), and automatic play/pause when you take them out. They also don’t have a sweat and water resistance rating. But they should work fine for everyday use.

The Solo Buds block out outside noise well, even without ANC. They have good sound quality, but not as good as more expensive earbuds. You get four different ear tip sizes, so they should fit most people comfortably.

The case is small because it doesn’t have its own battery. It’s light and charges the buds through a USB-C port. With 18 hours of battery in the buds, you can use them for a few days before needing to charge the case.

The Solo Buds are available in Matte Black, Storm Gray, Arctic Purple (exclusive to Apple and Target in the United States), and Transparent Red. These colors provide options while also being visually appealing.

Overall, the Beats Solo Buds are an excellent choice for those looking for low-cost wireless earbuds with useful features.
