TikTok, a popular short video-sharing app, has recently launched multiple new features to enhance engagement. It added a ‘Group Chat’ option and stickers in DMs to make creative expression through direct messaging.
Thoroughly, the company announced that the new group chat option is available to add 32 members, including you, in one conversation. However, TikTok sets some limitations regarding safety measures. You can add only mutual friends in the group chat and teenagers from 13 to 15 have limitations about group discussion. But undoubtedly, it is a prominent app for entertainment purposes.
Moreover, starting or creating a group chat is quite simple and sleek. You have to enroll your inbox on TikTok, press + to add friends or people and then press start the “Create Group Chat” option. Also, you can create a “Group Chat” directly from sharing the video itself.
In addition, TikTok stickers are similar to other messaging apps like Instagram, and WhatsApp. You can choose stickers either static or animated, following your convenience. TikTok allows 18 or older to create and upload stickers on “Sticker Sets”. Therefore, you can also check how many people use your stickers in their chats. Sticker Sets contain at least 24 stickers simultaneously; each file is up to 3 MB.
TikTok updates these two brand features to provide new fun to the users. It strengthens creative engagement and allows users to enjoy chatting with friends and people.
Though TikTok has some legal concerns with the US government, it still holds users from switching to other apps. TikTok is trying to implement features like WhatsApp or Messenger to maximize its brand value.
