You might remember earlier this year when Open AI’s advanced voice mode sounded just like Scarlett Johansson from the movie “Her”. There were so many similarities that Sky (The official voice bot) was accused of stealing Scarlett Johansson’s voice without her consent.
Well, apart from that incident, ChatGPT has been working hard to address this. And, now finally, after months of fine-tuning, Open AI is ready to unleash its revamped voice — All for the ChatGPT Plus subscribers.
The official statement was made by the company, this Tuesday at X (Formerly Twitter). Here’s the full announcement…
The best thing about this powerful voice bot is that it allows users to use some customized character voices or even use it as a live translator, which might be useful in a range of fields.
In one of their other announcement, Open AI mentioned that they have tested GPT-4o compatibility with over 100 red teamers across 45 languages to ensure overall privacy. And, in addition to that, this AI model will only speak in four preset voices including Juniper, Breeze, Cove, and Ember — which are paid collaboration voice actors.
