It has always been a fact that the new lineup of Google Pixel devices, the 8a, is going to be announced at the Google I/O 2024 on May 14th. And as the day comes near, we’ve seen a ton of new leaks turn up that give us a better idea of what can be expected from Google’s new mid-ranger.
A well-known Pixel tipster, Evan Blass, has posted an extensive set of pictures of the new Pixel 8a on Twitter this week. From these images, we can take a look at the phone from the front, back, and sides. The phone will come in 4 colors: Obsidian (Black), Porcelain (White-ish), Bay (Blue), and Mint (Green).
These designs have also been leaked previously, so there is not much to it, but, it pretty much assures us what the new Pixel 8a is going to look like. And, not only that, but unlike other leaks, the images this time are much clearer, giving us a better look at Google’s newest offerings this year.
From the images alone we can surmise that the new phone will look a lot like the Pixel 8 and 7a with its recognizable camera bar at the back. But still, it does seem like this year, the Pixel is going to sport a more curved frame than its predecessors.
