News » Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold: A New Design with a Taller Screen
Google is launching the Pixel 9 series on August 13. One of the new phones is the Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
It’s different from the old Pixel Fold. The new one has a taller screen, almost square. The old one was short and wide.
The new Pixel 9 Pro Fold has an 8-inch inner screen, bigger than the old 7.6-inch screen. It’s also brighter, with 1,600 nits. The old screen had 1,000 nits. This means it will be easier to see in bright light.
The outer screen is now 6.24 inches, also better than before. It’s got 1,800 nits of brightness. The inner display’s resolution is 2,152 x 2,076. It’s a bit clearer than the old one, which was 2,208 x 1,840.
The outer display’s resolution is 1,080 x 2,424, similar but a little improved from the previous model. Both screens will look good and be easy to use.
So, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold is changing its design to match more with other foldable phones.
This new design might make it better and more popular. We’ll see when it comes out next month.
