Apple will release its iOS 18 public beta this year and introduce more features to iPhone users. The operating system updates the virtual Siri, customizes home screens, powerful ways to stay connected in messages, and more.     

Customization and Compatibility

Apple introduces new features to customize the home and lock screens. Users can now arrange iPhone apps and widgets however they want and select the appearance mode of icons like dark or tint filters with the latest iOS 18.

Updation of Control Center

iOS 18 also introduces more updation of a control center like media playbacks, and home controls. Users can customize icon size for quick access and create new groups. 

Powerful ways to interact in messages

Apple’s iOS 18 updates the message section also with multiple new features like scheduling messages for later, underlining the texts, and tapbacks to include emojis. Messages via satellite are also added to deliver messages without signals.

Password and Privacy

The new beta releases a new password app to make it easy for users to access passwords in one place. iOS 18 also features hidden apps to mask specific apps without deleting them to maintain privacy. 

Redesigned Photos app

Apple also redesigned the iPhone’s photo app to make it easy for users to find specific photos by arranging them in themes like place, year, favorites, etc. The app is customizable so users can make it via their preferences. 

Apple Intelligence 

Apple Intelligence exhibited AI for Siri and writing tools. The iOS 18 updates a supercharge Siri and brand new systemwide writing tools. Users can now proofread, rewrite, and edit text simply.

iPhone Mirroring

Apple has launched a new iPhone screen mirroring on Mac. Now, users can access their iPhones from Macs without sending and dropping files to Mac.
