Samsung has a new update for the Galaxy Watch 6. This update improves the watch’s functionality and fixes issues.
In May, Samsung talked about One UI 6 Watch, which uses Wear OS 5. The beta test for this started in June in the US and South Korea. This test allows users to experience new features such as Energy Scores and Sleep Insights.
The new update has these improvements:Better system stabilityFixes reboot problemsBetter battery useFaster app performanceCurrently, only the Galaxy Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic in the United States and South Korea can receive the update.
It is only for Bluetooth versions, not LTE versions. Samsung might let Galaxy Watch 4 and 5 join the test later, but LTE models probably won’t be included.If you have the Galaxy Watch 6 beta, you can get the new 432MB update via the Galaxy Wearable app.
Go to Galaxy Watch > Watch settings > Watch software update > Download and install. Samsung will hold an event called Unpacked on July 10. More information about One UI 6 Watch will be covered during the event.
