Sony has announced the new “Accessories App” for customizing the DualSense Edge Controller on PC. The newly launched PlayStation Accessories app is available to modify the settings of the DualSense Edge Controller directly from their desktops.
Furthermore, the new Accessories app customizes button assignments, stick sensitivity, trigger dead zones, vibration/trigger effect intensity, and more on PC. The users can change the settings and update the firmware version by downloading the Accessories app. Therefore, a USB cable or Bluetooth connectivity is required to connect the DualSense Edge Controller with the desktops.
As PlayStation posted on X about the release of the Accessories app. “Starting today, PC gamers can unleash the full customizable power of the DualSense Edge controller directly on their computer. With the PlayStation Accessories app, customize the controller’s settings and update its firmware directly from your Windows PC.”
Sony’s previous version “Firmware Updates for DualSense Wireless Controller” only allows users to update the controller’s firmware from a Windows PC. However, the new Accessories app will enable users to customize their DualSense Edge Controller to be similar to Sony’s PlayStation 5 console.
The company assembles notable improvements in overall design and user experience. Sony exerts efforts to create next-level gaming accessories and provides various game titles on Windows PCs. Exclusive gaming titles are Ghost of Tsushima and The Last of Us Part 1 available for PC.
Since the launch of the new Accessories app, it seems like Sony has taken serious and effective measures to provide the most satisfactory gaming console. The PlayStation 5 console has achieved great success in the previous months.
