Google launched the Pixel Watch 3 at the event earlier in August. It is accepted that the latest Pixel Watch series is fully loaded with features. Besides a big dial size and other improvements, Google also introduces a Google’s Home app in the Pixel watch. The latest feature of live video streaming from Nest Cam feeds directly on the watch.
Additionally, it allows watch users to keep an eye on their homes and property even when long distanced. Google shares that the new live-streaming feature will soon be available for other watch models and OS wearable devices.
However, the latest feature requires a wired and battery-powered model setup. It includes “Nest Cam (outdoor or indoor, battery), Nest Cam with floodlight, Nest Cam (indoor, wired, 2nd gen), Nest Doorbell (battery), Nest Doorbell (wired, 2nd gen), or 1st gen Nest Cams”, reported by 9To5Google.
The detailed steps are considered to power the Nest Cam with Pixel Watch 3, as per 9To5Google.
“From the Google Home app, “tap the Camera device tile > select the camera you want to view.” You first get a “close-up view that fills your watch screen,” with the ability to double-tap to zoom in/out. You can “slide one finger to the left or right” to pan around.”
“At the bottom of the live view, you have a hamburger button that lets you access 2-way talk by tapping the microphone.”
Interestingly, there is a “quick response” feature next to the mic option. This feature helps the user to communicate quickly with the responses like “You can just leave it” and “We’ll be right there”. As a result, this standout feature supports Google to maximize sales of Nest Cam as well as Pixel Watches.
