Apple is working on its first home robotics technology to stream new revenue sources and boost the expansion of the Artificial Intelligence area.
According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is exploring in-home robotic devices and researching making home useful robots for security concerns, driving first-world problems with AI technology.
Apart from this, Apple also canceled the electronic self-driven car earlier this year, which Tesla has already conquered over car robotics field. However, the company is planning a range of home robotics that equipped to help with household chores and tasks.
First, Mark Gurman describes the “Table-Top Robot” which has a large iPad screen assembled into a thin robotic arm. The iPad display tilts almost 360 degrees performs as a videoconferencing machine tool and serves as a home security tool. Moreover, the robot can recognize different voices, detect multiple human faces, and more.
Apple is expected to launch such home robots in the upcoming 2026 and 2027 years. The company considered robot devices available under a budget of $1,000.
Furthermore, Apple is expected to launch a “Mobile Robot” for home purposes. The company’s efforts to make the ‘Jetson’ story into reality. The mobile robot would likely assemble face time calls, monitor the home, and simple tasks and queries.
To explore the robotics field, Apple will also introduce Siri with AI in-home robots to do household chores like cleaning and serving, which is yet far away from the real world.
However, it is quite challenging to feature robotic devices with advanced AI and Siri within reasonable price. If Apple makes it possible, it will be the best thing in the innovation world and to attract people.
